Situated in the heart of the Charolais district in South Burgundy (France), Digoine is one of the most charming and attractive Châteaux of the French 18th century. Surrounded by a vast landscape park of 75 acres comprising an ornamental lake, a formal garden with a unique greenhouse dating from 1830, orange trees in tubs centuries old, Digoine has also the rare privilege of housing a tiny and surprising private Italian theatre erected in 1842. The whole site listed as « Monument Historique » (French Heritage) is open to the public.
